📘 Booking Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Island Bookings. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before completing your reservation.


🌍 1. General

Island Bookings acts solely as an intermediary between guests/customers and accommodation owners or service providers. By completing a booking through our platform, you acknowledge and accept the following Terms and Conditions.

📝 2. Booking Process

  • ✔️ A booking is considered complete only after written confirmation is sent via email by Island Bookings.
  • ✔️ Customers must provide accurate and valid information (full name, phone number, email address, dates of stay, etc.).
  • ✔️ Prices are set by the accommodation owner and may vary depending on seasonality, availability, and demand.

💳 3. Booking Completion

A reservation is valid and binding only after:
  • ✔️ Full payment of the total booking amount
  • ✔️ Issuance of an official confirmation email
Partial or advance payments are not accepted.

🔄 4. Reservation Modifications

  • ✔️ Modification requests (dates, number of guests, services) are subject to availability.
  • ✔️ Changes may result in additional charges or price adjustments.
  • ✔️ Island Bookings is not obligated to accept changes after payment completion.

💰 5. Payment Methods

All reservations must be paid in full (100%) using one of the following methods:
  • 💳 Credit or debit card
  • 🔐 Secure electronic payments via Stripe
  • 🏦 Bank deposit (where available)
Failure to complete payment will result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.

❌ 6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • ✔️ Cancellations are subject to the individual cancellation policy of each accommodation.
  • ✔️ Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or full retention of the paid amount.
  • ✔️ In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, travel restrictions), we will make every reasonable effort to offer alternative dates or issue a credit balance.

🏠 7. Responsibilities & Obligations

  • ✔️ Island Bookings is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or damages caused by third-party providers.
  • ✔️ Guests are responsible for proper use of the accommodation.
  • ✔️ Any damage or loss during the stay is the sole responsibility of the tenant.

🔒 8. Personal Data & Privacy

Island Bookings complies fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal data is used exclusively for reservation purposes and is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.

✏️ 9. Amendments

Island Bookings reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will apply only to new bookings from the date of publication.
